rararebekah:

Edit: So a lot of people have been reblogging this and adding quotes like “this is what god wants”. While this is originally ends with “this is between you and god anyway”, I purposefully left that out, not just because I don’t believe in God, but because I believe that people should act like this in life regardless if they do or don’t believe in God. Whether you do or don’t believe in God, or whatever is God for you, I am not passing judgement, I just want us all to be able to follow these wise words when interacting with anyone and evey one we come in contact with.

Life.

Life is a powerful force with its ebb and flow; it always gives, it always takes. One often finds confusion to the riddle of what we call life. But it is through living this life that we are able to learn and put meaning to it. The people who walk into our lives are our greatest teachers, from a child who sees the world with wonder and curiosity, to an elderly person who shares such great wisdom and understanding. It is in these moments that we are able to find greater appreciation towards life itself and to somehow put our minds at ease knowing that its part of the greater scheme of things.

You can call it anything

Call it God

The Universe

The Source

The Self

Me

You

Call it a fucking flower.

What matters is this:

It is everything. And it sees through all things. It is birthless, deathless, fearless and desireless. It is the creator, sustainer and destroyer of all reality.

It is the dreamer and the dream.

Most importantly

It is you.
